ResearchStack is a SDK and UX framework for building research study apps in Android. This framework was developed by Cornell Tech, Small Data Lab and Open mHealth.
ResearchStack can be mainly used for building apps in Android devices. These apps can capture participant consent, extensible input tasks, and the security and privacy needs necessary for IRB approval. The framework acts as a backbone for building apps.
The goal of ResearchStack is to help developers easily adapt any existing apps that they may have on iOS to Android. ResearchKit and ResearchStack SDKs both share some functionality, framework and naming scheme that will greatly speed up adaptation of ResearchKit apps to Android or the other way around.
